When Scripture invites us to "be still," it is not asking us to disengage — it is inviting the whole person into participation. God designed within us a pathway that responds to rhythm, imagery, metaphor, beauty, and story. This imaginative, integrative capacity is deeply connected to worship, creativity, and relational knowing of Him.
Through Scripture-centered creativity, we are not escaping reality. We are activating the part of the mind that perceives meaning — the part that integrates emotion and truth, and allows us to experience God, not just understand Him.
Four Paths to Creative Encounter
Each path is available as an individual session or a group equipping gathering — for personal healing, church communities, retreats, and faith organizations.
Art Encounter
"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10
A one-on-one creative session guided by Scripture and gentle art practice. Through color, texture, and reflective making, you are invited into a space where the nervous system can rest and the heart can listen. This is not about technique — it is about encounter. Each session is tailored to you, held in safety, and rooted in the belief that creativity is a God-given pathway to healing and presence.
Poetry Encounter
"He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God." — Psalm 40:3
A one-on-one session using Scripture-centered poetry forms to engage both language and imagination. Poetry slows the mind, opens the heart, and creates space for the Spirit to speak. You do not need to be a writer — only willing to be present. Together we will use simple poetic forms to move from striving into steadiness, from analysis into attentiveness, and from silence into song.
Art Equipping
"Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." — Matthew 18:20
A facilitated group gathering for churches and faith communities who desire to cultivate spiritual attentiveness through art. Rooted in both Scripture and an understanding of how God designed the brain, this equipping session invites participants to experience how creative engagement shifts the nervous system from survival into safety — and opens space for worship, integration, and communal knowing of God. Practical tools are provided for leaders to bring back into ministry spaces.
Poetry Equipping

A facilitated group gathering using Scripture-centered poetry to awaken imagination and cultivate spiritual formation together.
